The Waukesha Heart Institute specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of heart and vascular diseases, with one goal in mind – to help you live longer and with a better quality of life by avoiding heart attacks, strokes, aneurysms, and amputation.
Nestled in Waukesha, we serve patients locally, the entire metro Milwaukee area, and Southeastern Wisconsin. In fact, our patients come from all over the Midwest.
Why would someone who lives hundreds of miles away choose to visit the Waukesha Heart Institute? It’s because, quite simply, our experienced cardiologists and staff deliver compassionate and innovative care that helps people live longer with a better quality of life.
We’ve helped thousands of people to not only live longer, but we’ve significantly improved their quality of life. After visiting us, our patients get back to enjoying all of the things that make life memorable; anniversaries, birthdays, weddings, births, hobbies, travel, and work.
Our patients would say that what we do is life-changing. We don’t take this lightly. We consider it a privilege to work with you to improve your health.
We are home to three of the most experienced cardiologists in the region. When you think of a cardiologist your first thought is probably of a doctor who works on the heart, and for good reason. Cardiac surgeons are specialists who work on the coronary system. They perform bypass surgery, open heart surgery, and other surgeries.
While most doctors work only on the coronary vessels; all three of our cardiologists work on the entire vascular system; including the peripheral vascular system. This allows us to offer more options when it comes to treatment. Our cardiologists perform procedures that other cardiologists do not. And they can perform the procedures without surgery. Using these non-invasive techniques means less pain, faster recovery and fewer complications.
Our goal is to improve your circulation so you don’t have to visit a cardiac surgeon.
Saving lives and limbs.
We are strong advocates when it comes to saving limbs. We have a history of being able to save legs from amputation. If you’re facing a proposed amputation, ask us for a second opinion. We’ll tell you if we can restore the circulation in your legs back to normal, thereby avoiding amputation.
Modern imaging technology, the latest non-invasive or minimally invasive techniques, and a strong foundation in research provide patients with the most innovative treatment options and a level of care that is difficult to find anywhere else.
